Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HangeulPath Institute. By using our website or enrolling in our courses, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. User Obligations

As a user of our services, you agree to provide truthful information, respect intellectual property rights, and comply with all applicable laws. You must not engage in any activities that could harm our services or other users.

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
• Respect intellectual property rights of HangeulPath Institute and third parties
• Use services only for lawful educational purposes
• Avoid harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward others

2. Prohibited Conduct

You explicitly agree not to:

• Use services for unlawful purposes or violate any laws
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with service operations or other users
• Reproduce or distribute course materials without authorization
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations

3. Course Enrollment

Enrollment is subject to availability and acceptance. Students must be at least 16 years of age or have parental consent. Regular attendance and active participation are expected.

• Age requirement: 16 years or older (with consent if under 16)
• Payment required before course commencement
• Attendance and participation expected for all classes
• Academic integrity and honest completion of assignments required

4. Payment and Refunds

All fees are payable in Japanese Yen (¥). Refund policies vary by course timing:

• Cancellations 14+ days before start: Full refund minus administrative fees
• Cancellations 7-14 days before start: 50% refund
• Cancellations less than 7 days before start: Non-refundable
• No refunds after course commencement

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, proficiency levels, or examination results. Individual progress depends on personal dedication and aptitude.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HangeulPath Institute shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of time, data, opportunities, or failure to achieve desired proficiency.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials are protected by copyright. Students receive a limited license for personal educational use only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited and may result in legal action.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HangeulPath Institute from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or infringement of third-party rights.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall first be attempted through good faith negotiations, then mediation if necessary, and finally through courts of Tokyo, Japan.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or technology disruptions. Alternative arrangements may be offered at our discretion.

11. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and remaining provisions continue in full force. No waiver of any term constitutes a waiver of other terms.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
